Jennie completed her Level 5 Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage through the Oxford School of Sports Massage. Jennie can assist with rehabilitation of pain related to injury, sport, lifestyle, or posture.
As well as clinic experience, Jennie has provided pre and post event support at The London Marathon and a number of local events. She takes great pride in her professionalism, holds high standards for her practice, and aims to keep her knowledge up to date.
Jennie is a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM).
Jennie originally studied education at The University of Stirling – Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence. Throughout her time at the university Jennie was immersed in the sporting world – she took up a number of sports including running, weight lifting, water polo, aerial silks, and netball, held a part time job at a local bicycle shop, and took part in the Sports Innovation Challenge.
Jennie’s goal is to help others to access the physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits that she has experienced personally through engaging with sport and fitness. This, and her curiosity about the musculoskeletal system, lead Jennie to pursue a career in soft tissue therapy.
